They charged me for my first box on March 7, 2024 but didn't bother to mail it until March 30. Between them and the local post office, the address was completely altered and the package has been to over 26 cities and as of April 13, I have no clue! After contacting them repeatedly, they supposedly sent me another box. That box is also floating around out there somewhere.
After contacting Birchbox again repeatedly, I received the following:

Thank you so much for your reply.
I sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may have caused. As we have already fulfilled this box, we can no longer process a refund for this box. However, we will make sure to arrange a replacement box. With that being said, we have now arranged for a replacement for your April Box to be shipped to the shipping address associated with your account. I have made sure to include it below for your reference. Please expect this to ship as soon as possible.

Now, this supposed box is the replacement for the March box I never got. I never got an April box either. But oh, they're good at billing you!! After all this began, I checked out their reviews and I see that they have a horrible reputation.

When i signed up for Birchbox it was $15 a month
I am very bad abouf reading emails and jusf realized i am now paying $27 for a box of samples
THE SAME SIZE and the SAME AMOUNT OF PRODUCTS that i have always received
In July it was $21, now $27 I will be CANCELING MY MEMBERSHIP and let all of my followers know about how decieving your company is
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOUR COMAPANY!!!

I purchased a three month gift for my mom. She had to give her card # to sign up.
Her card has been billed every month. In addition to what i already paid. Can't get her $ returned. No phone customer service only email.
Birchbox has taken my money for the gift plus her money and won't refund it unless we cancel a box(which I already paid for). Not worth the hassle.
Horrible customer service. Don't waste your money giving this as a gift, it's a complete hassle for the person receiving the gift, and they end up paying for a gift that was already paid for!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I ordered my first box, did the quiz, and chose my products. Nowhere did they state it was sample packs.
It took 18 days to get my first box. For the price they charged, I could go to Ulta and get these things for free.

Like others have said, they dont allow you to cancel. Its been years since I last purchased a subscription from Birchbox.
I never renewed and have even periodically checked my account to ensure auto-renewal was turned OFF. Well, guess what they did this week? Charged my debit card $204. I checked my account again and auto-renewal was magically turned back on.
YEARS after my last subscription!
I had to file a dispute with my bank and get a whole new card.
Birchbox customer service is non-existent. This is a fraudulent company that only exists to scam people and harvest their financial data.
